Working remotely on a full-time basis, the NOC Engineer I will manage outage resolution and network health monitoring across the Lumos Core and Access Broadband Network, collaborating with various teams to ensure quick service restoration.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinates network outages with multiple teams to ensure effective resolution
  • Performs event notifications for internal teams and external customers
  • Assists with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network performance issues
Required qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet and TCP IP networking
  • 2-4+ years of professional network operations experience or five or more years of related technical experience
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • CCNA certification preferred
  • Ability to work a 24/7 operational schedule including nights and weekends
